Refund Policy
Transparency, fairness and consistency in managing training refunds.

This Refund Policy outlines how Restoring Resilience ("the Company," “the Organiser”, "we," "us," or "our”) issues refunds for participants enrolled in Somatic Experiencing® International Training or the Restoring Resilience GROW Program. It ensures transparency, fairness and consistency in managing financial transactions related to training participation.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all participants enrolled in Somatic Experiencing® International Training.
2. General Principles
- Refunds are issued at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with this policy.
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to:

setrainingscoordinator@restoringresilience.com.au - Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.
3. Participant-Initiated Withdrawal
If a participant chooses to withdraw from a training module:
- More than 30 days before commencement of year level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced): Full refund minus deposit fee (if applicable).
- Deposit fee (if applicable) is non-refundable.
- No refunds will be provided after commencement for non-attendance or partial attendance.
- No refunds will be issued after the final payment deadline or after full payment has been received.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to commencement.
- If you withdraw at any time after commencement, no refund will be provided.
4. Organiser-Initiated Withdrawal
- The participant agrees to leave the Training immediately if requested by the Organiser or Company.
- Refunds may be issued at the Organiser’s discretion, considering timing, conduct and circumstances.
- No refund will be issued in cases of serious misconduct or breach of the Code of Conduct.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered outside standard timeframes in cases of:
- Medical emergencies (with documentation)
- Bereavement or family crisis
- Other unforeseen events deemed valid by the Organiser
Requests must be submitted with supporting documentation and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6. Cancelled Modules
- If a training module is cancelled by the Organiser, participants may choose a full refund or transfer to a future module.
- No administrative fees will be charged in these cases.

8. Non-Reimbursable Expenses
- Travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses incurred by the participant are not reimbursable.
9. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of confirmation. Participants will receive written notification once the refund has been issued.
10. Changes to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued participation in the Training after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
